Jake Paul opens up about first ayahuasca session and reveals vision

Jake Paul has revealed how Ayahuasca – a hallucinogen drug – inspired him to fight Mike Tyson after visualising himself taking on the 58-year-old two years ago.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer will take on Iron Mike at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium in Texas on November 15 in what many are calling a ‘clash of generations’.

Paul explained how he got the idea to fight Tyson during one of his spiritual journeys while chatting about the fight on a mini docu-series with Netflix.

The 27-year-old explained how he went to Costa Rica for his first Ayahuasca ceremony and ended up visualising himself fighting Tyson.

Paul reached out to Iron Mike the following day and began planning a fight with the former heavyweight world champion.

Speaking to Netflix, Paul said: ‘About two and a half years ago now, I went to Costa Rica for my first Ayahuasca ceremony. I wanted to uncover things about myself.

‘One of the craziest things was the vision I had of me and Mike Tyson fight each other. It was as if it had already happened or something.

‘It could have been in the future, as though it was going to happen, but that was the feeling and the vision I got from Ayahuasca.

‘It showed me the millions of kids watching the fight through their TVs and devices. It showed the butterfly effect of what that created for the sport of boxing.

‘So, 인터넷카지노 the next day I got in contact with Mike and he was like yeah Jake, I love this idea, this is awesome man, this sounds great, we need to make this happen.

‘That’s the power of opening yourself to the energy of the universe but also acting on those things when they come to the light.’

Paul isn’t the only athlete or celebrity to have tried Ayahuasca and promoted what they believe to be positive results of the psychedelic experience.

Prior to his clash with Joseph Parker, Deontay Wilder told The Telegraph that the hallucinogen had left him ‘reborn’, but insisted that his competitive instincts had not been dulled by the experience.
